Product Description
The DAT5024P is capable of accepting Volt, mA, mV, RTD and Tc signals at its input. Thanks to the power source (vaux), the current input allows you to connect both active and passive sensors and converters. The two thresholds can be configured via DIP-switch as maximum or minimum, while the threshold level is set by acting on the potentiometer located on the front of the device. The value of the hysteresis and of the delay time for the thresholds can be set using special potentiometers positioned inside the side door.
Where a more precise configuration of the threshold parameters is required, it is possible to do the programming via PC and DATAPRO software without using the test points and potentiometers and placing all the dip switches in the OFF position.
To proceed with programming via software it is necessary to interface the device to the PC using the special CVPROG cable that can be purchased separately. It is also possible to carry out the configuration from the software even without using an external power supply connected to the device.
The galvanic isolation eliminates all the effects due to possibly present ground loops, allowing its use even in the harshest environmental conditions.
